We have a graphics and visual design program and members must maintain a minimum B + average in their first two years at Holyoke Community College. Our Articulation Agreement gives students the opportunity to earn college credits in digital design, graphic design and digital media art. We have been nominated for a number of national and international awards for our graphic and visual design programs and are an example of the work of dedicated artists from around the world, the United States and Canada.
We are located in the heart of West Springfield, Massachusetts, just blocks from Holyoke Community College. For a single admission, you will have access to all the arts venues in West SPRINGFIELD, as well as a full day of classes and activities.
US Route 5, currently known as Riverdale Road, has been modified to bypass downtown Springfield and West Springfield, with new segments being built along the West and Agawam waterfront. The present park, which was formerly used as a meeting house, church and militia, was created by Edward Parsons and other townspeople at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries. It takes place at the foot of Hadley Falls, conveniently located near Hadly Falls.
In the 1860s, West Springfield was used as a greenhouse and exported fresh plants to Boston, but the growing population and improved transport links increased the potential market. In 1868, the Western Railway, which connected it with Worcester and the State of New York, was opened and became an important transport hub. Amtrak service is still available through Springfield, and the central station is Stillbe, the location of Amtrak headquarters and the headquarters of Massachusetts Central Railroad. The railway became one of the largest employers in the city for many decades, employing more than 2,000 people and a population of more than 1,500.
While it looks forward to bringing shows to Springfield Symphony Hall, Sanders said Dan Smalls Presents also plans to expand the hall, which is already in use. The casino is a sponsor, but there are drawbacks: "MGM Springfield doesn't have a big negative impact," he agreed.
He followed his childhood passion for drawing and has taught art for over 30 years, most recently as an art teacher at West Springfield High School. He is particularly interested in students who want a little more art in their lives, he said.
In 1855, the area, which is mainly south of the Westfield River, including the communities of Agawam and Feeding Hills, was incorporated as an independent town of Agawsam, Massachusetts. The West Springfield Democratic Party (WSHS - D) and its Political Action Committee were founded in 1953 with a circulation of about 5,500 and are the largest political organization in the state of Massachusetts and the second largest in Massachusetts, behind the Democrats in the state of Massachusetts. WS HS Democrats is responsible for electing all of its board members and cooperates with the West Springfield Democratic Committee.
