I just turned 36. I work as a full-time karaoke host and disc jockey, with a minimum of three shows per week and I also handle some office duties for the DJ company that I work for. I swore off coffee forever and am looking for a reason to go back to it. This last week has been hard without that extra kick. So I'm in a bad mood right now and maybe I shouldn't be writing this.

I like to discuss things, whether they be literature, math, science, engineering, politics or video games. I'm usually the least bored in a doctor's waiting room because I have so many ideas to think about. I like to think, and talk to other people who like thinking. I don't like most movies, but I like terrible movies than the average person likes average movies.

I believe the most important part of a relationship is understanding when someone needs space. Whether they are friends or lover, both should know that the other person has their own thing to do and their relationship does not change who they are. Each person should have their own life and not try to run the others' for them, instead supporting them for whatever both feel is a comfortable distance.

I am a 34 year old lesbian mom of two. My daughter just turned 6 and my son is 7 1/2. Being outdoors is great! I enjoy biking and hiking and I own snow shoes (which are still in the package)! I will try almost anything twice.....except meat for reasons stated previously. I have many things I would love to try like, sky diving, traveling through Europe (and across the US), scuba diving, act in an indy film, sing in a band (something jazzy and cool), write a book, become a wine connoisseur, go to a dude ranch, take a hot air balloon ride, and learn to swing dance. These are just a few. I would also like to learn karate...or aikido I don't know yet.
I like to make plans, as in life plans even if they change! I think this may be a continuation of my love of lists....I feel great satisfaction crossing things off! My plan right now is to stay positive and focus on the things I love to do. It is so easy to become affected by the world, particularly at this time. I do think that happiness, to some extent is a choice.

I am a CORI approved caregiver for MassHealth's AFC program and I am responsible for providing care 24/7 so I can only be absent for a few hours at a time and never over-night. My duties satisfy me in many ways, but also leave a big void. I have been divorced for many years, but I am in many ways "married to my job", so getting together may be a problem and getting to know each other well will take some time and effort.

That said, I go online every day, several times a day (7 days/week, 5 times a day - rather pathetic, I know). So if you don't mind email being the main form of communication, great!

Well theres not much to say. Im just a regular guy who likes to have fun and party. I don't know how to summarize myself, but I'll try. I laugh a lot and find that to be one of the best things about my job. Speaking of my job, I work with kids and I can't believe I love them as much as I do (I never thought I would work with kids). I spend lots of time talking with my family who lives far away and I travel to them when I can. I spend much too much time writing and reading emails. I was a creative writing major in undergrad and miss writing a lot. I hate driving and cleaning--the latter of which I am avoiding now by writing this blurb!

I an always honest and speak my mind appropriately. I'm not one to get upset or throw a temper-tantrum over trivial things. I am not like most women. At least form what I've heard. I don't sweat the small stuff. I dont take too many things too personally, unless you meant it that way and a lot of things that I guess bother most people, don't bother me. Everyone has a past. Everyone has baggage, it's how you choose to carry it and deal with it that makes or breaks a new relationship. All my issues from the past are packed safely away, never to haunt me again. I'd like yours to be the same. Leave it in the past. talking about it doesn't bother me, dwelling on it and keeping it fresh enough to affect your today life is a problem.

Friendship and companionship are very important when it comes to being happy in life. I'm looking for people to hangout with and to get to know better. If more comes from the friendship, then we can just go with the flow.
I enjoy sports, movies, outdoors (camping), cuddling, walks on the beach or in a park, cookouts, picnicking, zoos, fishing, listening to good music, road trips, tag sales/flea markets, playing board/card games, playing pool or darts, feeding the ducks at a pond, spending time with friends and family, video games (especially FFXI), going to renaissance fairs and just having a good time.
